Slack Integration

The Slack Integration feature provides real-time notifications about critical events within Repox platform directly to your Slack workspace. This integration ensures that you and your team are always informed about important system activities and can take immediate action when needed.

By enabling Slack (opens in a new tab) integration, you can receive instant updates on:

  • Storage Threshold Alerts: Get notified when the storage usage approaches or exceeds a defined limit.
  • New User Registrations: Stay informed whenever a new user is added to the system.
  • Critical System Events: Monitor other key events or updates that may require your attention.

How It Works

Slack integration leverages Slack Webhooks to deliver notifications to specific channels in your Slack workspace. Once configured, the system will automatically send event notifications to the designated channel(s), ensuring seamless communication and efficient monitoring.

Configuring Slack Integration

  1. Access System Settings: Navigate to the System Settings section of the product.
  2. Enable Slack Integration: Toggle the Slack Integration setting to enable the feature.
  3. Set Up Webhooks:
  • Go to your Slack workspace and create a webhook URL. For instructions, refer to Slack’s official documentation.
  • Copy the webhook URL.
  1. Configure Webhook URL in System Settings:
  • Paste the webhook URL into the Slack Webhook URL field in the system settings.
  • Specify the Slack channel where you want to receive notifications.
  1. Test the Integration:
  • Use the Test Connection button to verify that the notifications are successfully sent to the Slack channel.
  1. Save Settings:
  • Once testing is successful, save your settings to activate the integration.
