Repox provides a powerful versioning system that ensures traceability and flexibility in managing both datastreams and metadata. Users can upload new versions of a datastream while retaining access to all previously uploaded versions, allowing for seamless version tracking and retrieval of historical content.

Similarly, metadata associated with containers or datastreams can be updated, and prior versions of the metadata can be retrieved, provided the schema and configuration have not changed.

This feature enables users to maintain a detailed history of changes, supporting data integrity and compliance while facilitating the restoration of earlier versions when needed.
