The Mailgun Integration in Repox platform enables automated email notifications for key system events. This ensures that users stay informed and engaged with the system, improving communication and providing timely updates for better user experience.

By enabling Mailgun (opens in a new tab) integration, the system can send emails for events such as:

  • New User Registration: Notify users or administrators when a new user account is created.
  • System Usage Updates: Provide regular reports or alerts on system usage and performance.
  • Job Completion Notifications: Inform users when specific tasks, such as batch jobs, are completed.

How It Works

Mailgun integration uses the Mailgun API to send emails from your configured domain. Once set up, the system can automatically send email notifications to the intended recipients for various predefined events.

Configuring Mailgun Integration

  1. Access System Settings: Navigate to the System Settings section in the product dashboard.
  2. Enable Mailgun Integration: Toggle the Mailgun Integration option to enable the feature.
  3. Provide Mailgun Credentials:
  • API Key: Obtain the API key from your Mailgun account
  • Domain Name: Specify the domain configured in your Mailgun account for sending emails.

  • Use the Test Connection button to send a sample email and confirm that the integration works correctly.
